Orange County, California, United States
I am an associate in the Orange County office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP and I am a member of the firm's Litigation Department, the Environmental Litigation and Mass Tort Practice Group, and the Intellectual Property Practice Group. I have experience in representing clients in a wide range of litigation matters in both federal and state courts.
Prior to joining the firm, I served as a judicial law clerk to Senior District Court Judge Raymond L. Finch., of the District Court of the U.S. Virgin Islands, St. Croix Division. I earned my Juris Doctor degree cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2007, where I was elected to the Order of the Coif. As a student, I worked in a wide variety of legal arenas, including the Attorney General's Office of Connecticut in the Consumer Protection Division, an Oakland based media/entertainment law firm and recording company Hieroglyphics Imperium, LLC, and as a legal research assistant to Professor Edmund E. Ursin, studying Lochner v. New York, 198 U.S. 45 (1905) jurisprudence and the "Constitution in Exile" movement. I also have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and International Studies, with honors, from Northwestern University in 2004.
