Aneeqa Bashir
Student, Writer, and Volunteer in karachi Pakistan
Hi, I'm Aneeqa Bashir, a passionate youth activist from Karachi, Pakistan, on a mission to pave the way for a greener, more sustainable future for our nation.
My journey in environmental advocacy started at a young age, driven by a profound love for nature and a desire to preserve Pakistan's rich green heritage. My educational path has always been aligned with sustainability and environmentalism, and it has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to make a difference.
As a writer and commentator, I've been fortunate to lend my voice to significant platforms like Dawn, Geo News, and The News, raising awareness about the critical importance of sustainable practices. My OP-EDs aim to educate, inspire, and drive action towards mitigating the environmental challenges we face today.
I'm incredibly honored to have my efforts recognized, receiving awards and accolades, including a special honor from the SDGs Academy for my contributions to climate change activism.
One of my proudest accomplishments is playing a pivotal role in the heritage declaration of Pakistan's banyan trees, a vital step towards protecting these majestic trees for our future generations.
In my free time, you'll find me exploring the breathtaking landscapes of Pakistan, which serve as a constant reminder of the beauty we're fighting to preserve.
I'm proud to be part of A Greener Pakistan, a digital platform dedicated to fostering a sustainable future for our country. Join me and countless others in our quest to make a positive impact and ensure a thriving, green Pakistan for the future generations.
Let's connect and drive change together!
