All American Muslima

I just love the title "All American" for so many reasons. Mainly because no one ever assumes I am American. Truth is I am as American as they come. I'm black so the furthest I can trace my roots is to the deep south of Alabama and the West Indian Island of Jamaica. My presence in America is a direct result of slavery, but who is complaining.

I am a writer, recording artist, and aspiring fashion designer who happened to study Political Science. My college experience was so awesome because I took up a minor in African American studies. So if you are reading my blog you will get a mix of all I have just mentioned. Pretty random, right? Oh yeah and I'm left handed ;)
