Anele Mhlanga

Student in Johannesburg South Africa

Greetings,

My name is Anele. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Education degree at the University of Johannesburg, majoring in English and Neurodevelopmental Needs.

My passion for education stems from my love for children, particularly those with special educational needs and those who learn differently. I believe that every child deserves an equal opportunity to succeed. My teaching philosophy is that no child should be left behind. As an educator, I believe it is essential to recognise and accommodate the diverse learning styles and needs of every learner to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

One of my favourite quotes is:

"One child, one teacher, one book, and one pen can change the world." — Malala Yousafzai

This quote inspires me because it reminds me that meaningful change often begins with a single teacher making a positive difference in the life of one child. It highlights the powerful impact that educators can have, not only on individual learners but also on society as a whole. It serves as a constant reminder never to underestimate the difference one person can make in shaping a better future.
