Anele Xaba
Student in Johannesburg
Born and bred in the vibrant township of Soweto, I have always been a tenacious individual driven by a deep desire to make a difference in the lives of others. I was raised in a humble household by my great grandmother, and I was instilled with the values of perseverance, ambition, and the importance of education from an early age.
I am currently doing my honors in STEM Education at the University of Johannesburg. As a pedagogical practitioner, I have developed a distinctive teaching philosophy that is centered around creating an inclusive environment that will provide learners with equal learning opportunities, and strive to prepare learners for the real world by providing them with ICT skills that will prepare them for a flourishing and successful future.
I am inspired by my deep-rooted purpose to make a positive impact on society and my aspirations reach far beyond the classroom. I envision myself becoming the next Miss South Africa, utilizing the platform to raise awareness about crucial social issues and bring about real change. I firmly believe that becoming Miss South Africa will grant me the opportunity to tackle pressing matters, such as education reform, gender empowerment, and amplifying the voices of marginalized communities. I see a future where every young person, regardless of their background, has access to quality education and equal opportunities.
