Angel Rivera

Motivated coder with with +4 years of educational experience, current student at Inventive Academy, artist, youngest of three, trying to make my family proud. Looking to work and learn with company seeking a committed and adaptive student.

I got into coding because growing up I was always interested in computers how they worked, how people made applications and games just my typing. At the time it seemed a lot simpler and straight forward, but as I grew older I noticed it took a lot of time, hard work and dedication to make something that everyone uses to make there lives more simpler or enjoyable. In high school I took a Java class and a HTML class and that got me hooked on programming class. My teacher for Java was great, he explained things in a manner that made us more interested to learn. Now combined with my love of drawing and designing, I think web development is what I want in a job.

Current coding projects I'm working on are posted on my GitHub. They consist of projects from online lessons to projects I've wanted to do on my own. I could always use some input on my work.

No my hair isn't that long anymore and yes I hope I have the chance to get it that long again.

I occasionally post art on my Tumblr page if you're interested in looking, (though I mostly just reblog funny pictures). My artwork consists mostly of what my current interests are. I'm always looking for constructive criticism or a pat on the back for the pretty picture I drew.
