Angela Fauteux is an instructional designer in Montreal, Quebec. She recently designed several instructional modules at HEC Montreal for the DAIP, that focused on teaching educators, students and staff how to use the Learning Management System (LMS) ZoneCours. ZoneCours utilises the educational platform Sakai : A free, open source software that relies on its community of academic institutions, commercial organizations and individuals who work together to develop a common Collaboration and Learning Environment (CLE).
She is a recent Master of Arts graduate in Educational Technology at Concordia Universtiy. Where she conducted her research under the supervision of Dr. Richard F. Schmid, Professor and Associate Director of the Centre for the Study of Learning and Performance.
