Angela Riveros

Hello, everyone! My name is Angela Riveros, and I am studying law at Santo Tomas University. I chose this major because I am interested in the laws that exist in society and how the law can help resolve national and international conflicts.

Regarding my studies, I am currently in my fifth semester and have a keen interest in issues of justice and history in Colombia and other countries such as France and Russia, as well as the rules that govern society. I have particularly enjoyed learning about conflict resolution, mainly from a global perspective on human rights.

Although I am not currently involved in any extracurricular activities, I plan to take courses to improve my public speaking skills so that I can express myself more confidently and develop further in this area. I am also interested in taking courses related to international law and human rights to deepen my knowledge.

Regarding my future interests, I want to practice law in a responsible and committed manner and contribute to solutions that have a positive impact on society.

I would like to work as an international mediator in international organizations such as the United Nations or participate in global research projects focused on legal and social issues.
