As a dancer, Angela Zaccardi is extremely dedicated to her art form. She is currently attending Dean College in Franklin, MA where she will receive her BA as a dance major in May of 2015. She studies a diverse variety of dance techniques including Horton, Graham, ballet, pointe, jazz, hip hop, and tap. She also has a strong background in gymnastics.
Throughout her time at Dean, Angela has studied with professionals such as Jill Silverman, Gregory King, Laura Young, Jeremy Ruth Howes, Robbie Mulrey and Todd Shanks. She has performed in numerous shows on campus, and is the Vice President of the Dance Team. In addition, she was also selected to perform at The Joyce Theater, American College Dance Festival, and the Boston Contemporary Dance Festival.
Outside of her studies as a dance major, Angela has extended her training at the Alvin Ailey Summer Intensive and the Donald Byrd Workshop at Spectrum Dance Theatre.
Her ultimate goal is turn her passion into a profession. She aspires to perform in a dance company and travel around the world sharing her art with people from all different cultures. She continues to grow as artist with knowledge, commitment, and hard work in order to build a career as a professional dancer.
