Angela Inglis is a Yoga teacher, Physiotherapist, and actress. She is passionate about living with Spirit, and her Physiotherapy work gives her a unique understanding of the body, which is a beautiful tool when teaching or assisting her students.
She loves nature and the energy it emits, and incorporates this love into her teaching, taking various workshops into beautiful settings that enhance the intention of the class.
She strongly believes in Forrest Yoga as a healing practice and one that works with authentic self. She teaches students of all backgrouds, including injuries, emotional blockages, eating disorders, anxiety and poor self-esteem. Having suffered from all of the above, she aims to bring breath and light into areas of darkness and suffocation.
Her acting took a late start in the professional world as she studied drama and musical theatre after she had qualified as a Physio. As soon as she completed her training she took to the stage in The Rocky Horror Show as the Usherette and Janet Understudy. She performed the lead in musicals and plays she produced (I Am What I Am), and Se-My-Alles (Grahamstown National Arts Festival), and has been a part of Improguise, the Theatre Sports team in Cape Town.
She is currently performing in Janice Honeyman and Bernard Jay's Peter Pan at the Joburg Theatre, and is teaching Forrest Yoga around Johannesburg.
She is the co-director and co-owner of Alphen House, a multidisciplinary health studio run from home, in Constantia, Cape Town.
