Angela M. Brown is a woman recognized for making a difference and inspiring others to do the same. A seasoned media personality, conference speaker, author and businesswoman, Angela enjoys nearly 20 years of experience as a public relations executive, including eight years as president of OmniMedia Consulting Group, an award-winning PR firm shefounded that specialized in media relations, event planning and media training.
Currently, Angela serves as the executive director of community engagement and strategic partnerships at Perfecting Ministries where she is responsible for communicating and executing the vision and mission of Perfecting Ministries and its affiliates through oversight of all marketing communication, media, government and community outreach, as well as identifying opportunities for community service and strategic partnerships, both locally and abroad through its community engagement arm, Loving Our Cities.
Proud mother of KJ and Olivia, Angela passionately serves alongside her husband of 26 years, Kevin C. Brown, founding pastor of The Perfecting Church, and oversees A Woman’s Business, an international outreach to restore the purpose, power and position of women.
She uses her experiences as a platform to motivate women to turn obstacles into opportunities through frequent speaking engagements, mentoring, media interviews and as guest host of WGTW-TV's “Joy in Our Town”.
Angela attended Hampton University and graduated from Rowan University with a bachelor’s degree in Communication and a certificate in African American Studies.
Her memberships include the Links, Inc., where she chairs the Women's Issues Committee for the South Jersey Chapter, the Winslow Township Economic Development Council, the City of Philadelphia Mayor’sCommission on Aging, the Urban Affairs Coalition Community & Economic Development Committee where she co-chairs the Employer-Assisted Housing Program subcommittee and PHILADANCO, where she serves as a member of the Advisory Board and past president of its Board of Directors.
