By day I am the Design Manager for NYTimes.com, and by heart I am a photographer, traveler and conservationist. New York City has been my home and inspiration for the past seven years. I’ve also lived in Madrid, Munich, and Atlanta. My incurable case of wanderlust began during a study abroad program in Kenya. I grew up in Michigan where I learned how to ride a horse and train lions and tigers. I spend a lot of time reading and thinking about what the future holds in terms of globalization and alternative sustainable energy. Most of all, I appreciate good design, have a profound respect for history, and a desire to keep learning.
