ANGELA SMITH

Before graduating as an environmental biologist at Western Australia's Curtin University, I worked for a decade in social welfare. After graduating with Honours, I worked in conservation and rehabilitation for various commissions and mining companies. Latterly, I took time out from my career to take full time care of my partner - who fell victim to state-sponsored elder abuse. To assist me in returning to the workforce, I am currently study Law and Web Communications at Murdoch University.

It is my desire to work in research/social justice/politics and help make our society a fairer one for those who cannot (or are not allowed to) speak for themselves.
