I am an educator, musician, actor, composer and traveler.
I am happy to be the head of the Performing Arts Department at Parkside Collegiate Institute. I came to teaching later in life, as I was a professional theatre musician and actor. I work with LYTE and am playing keyboard for Frozen at the Grand Theatre this winter. Having authentic experiences in the performing arts, makes me a better educator.
I love all things retro and vintage, and embrace Halloween year round much to my husband's dismay.
After a year long teaching exchange to Australia, I have embraced Sydney as my adopted hometown. I enjoy renovating and have enjoyed playing roller derby ( Scary Lee Lewis) for four years, both in Canada and Australia. I love my people, especially my husband , Sam and my bulldog Daisy Mae.
