Angela is an award-winning innovation and brand strategist who has worked with companies such as Gatorade, AMEX, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Pepsi, kate spade, Lucky Brand Jeans, Hayneedle.com, Nokia, Tostitos, Del Monte, PlayStation, and Nissan to create innovative new products, brand strategies, and communications. Since 2009 Angela has led the Gatorade account, working closely with PepsiCo R&D, GSSI, industrial designers, and marketing partners, rapid prototyping proprietary science to create game-changing products such as the G Series. She has led similar efforts for Tostitos, Hayneedle.com, and Del Monte, inclusive of concept development, brand identity, and go-to-market strategy. As a trained RIVA moderator, Angela excels at conducting user-centric research, uncovering latent needs, and developing nascent ideas into big opportunities.
Angela is passionate about a wide range of topics—from triathlons to live music, modern art to college football. She is actively involved in the NYC startup community and is currently learning to code. She finds inspiration in these seemingly disconnected interests to create solutions for business challenges. Her voracious curiosity fuels her creativity and ability to solve whatever challenges are thrown her way. Born and raised in Michigan, Angela played NCAA Division I soccer at Drake University where she earned a BS in Business, Cum Laude. Prior to joining Redscout, Angela was a Brand Planner at TBWA\Chiat\Day in Los Angeles. New York City is now her home.
