Angeleah Coker

I graduated from The University of Alabama in December 2013 with my bachelors degree of arts in communication and information sciences. Roll Tide! During my time at UA, I interned as a news reporter at the Tuscaloosa News and became a contributing writer to The Crimson White student newspaper and Dateline Alabama student website. Having my work published gives me a great feeling of accomplishment. While I prefer feature writing, I have been trained to write across all platforms. I also worked as a designer for The Crimson White student newspaper. I enjoy photography as well, and although I am not fluent with a camera, I know the basics. I am now a general assignment reporter for The Tuscaloosa News, which I hope will propel my career toward my dream job of writing for a magazine and maybe a novel in the future.
