Angelica Mendoza

My name is Angelica Mendoza and I am a junior accounting major at Texas Tech University. I am from Amherst, Texas which is a small town about forty minutes from Lubbock, Texas. I am a transfer student from South Plains College in Levelland, Texas. I love math and working with numbers so I knew from a young age I wanted to major in accounting. My future goals are to apply to the Masters of Science program in accounting and get my CPA certification. I want to take the audit route since I believe a business would be nothing without properly prepared financial statements. I am also very interested in economics and will most likely get a minor in it. My hobbies include spending time with family and friends, reading and exercising.
