Biologist, Environmental Educator, and Curator in Columbus, Ohio
I am the curator of the Borror Laboratory of Bioacoustics at the Museum of Biological Diversity at The Ohio State University. I earned my MS degree at the University of Vienna in my home country of Austria and my PhD at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark. As a behavioral ecologist my research focuses on acoustic communication in birds, recently in the white-crowned sparrow along the Pacific Northwest coast. I teach “Ohio Birds” and several workshops and summer programs for the Audubon society.
