Miami, FL

I believe that we are all connected and that none of us can do it alone. I consider myself fortunate to have discovered early on that my passion in life is helping other people through locally focused non-profit organizations. I get to spent half of each work-week working toward helping low-income individuals get the training and suiting they need to get a job through Suited for Success /Dress for Success Miami, and the other half enjoying life through my kid's eyes (though I still freelance from time to time).

Some things I've done: magazine writing, editing and production; print and digital marketing; branding; social media and web strategy; grant writing; blog content and platform management; quantitative web analysis; layout and design. Government, higher ed and nonprofit lover.

I used to blog at The New Professional, and I've also written for CNN Opinion, ProfessionGal, FIU Magazine, The Daily Muse, Modern Career Girl and Women 2.0.
