Angélique Gérard, born in 1975 in Fontainebleau, is director of subscriber relations for the Internet service provider Free.
Self-taught, she began her career in 1997, with a technical DUT in marketing techniques, within a major Telecom Group in the sale of automatic switches to businesses. She then joined Iliad in 1999, at the age of 23, as project manager for the creation of a platform dedicated to customer relations.
Quickly appointed head of Free’s customer support service, Angélique was responsible for setting up eight call centers that accompanied the growth of the Iliad Group and for deploying teams of field technicians. In 2010, it unites the contact center systems around the MCRA company, a single legal entity and central control and management body.
Expert in customer relations, graduated from the European Institute of Business Administration (INSEAD), from the Multi-Media Institute (Digital Leadership Program) and trained as a manager at HEC Business School, Angélique Gérard, continues to ensure the development of the quality of Free's subscriber relations (Free, Free Mobile, Onetel). It is considered today by Figaro Magazine as one tomorrow’s french economic leaders.
Angélique Gérard, is also active in the life of Freenautes associations. She also leads several debates related to different themes suche as motivation, efficiency, productivity, multi-channel management and boldness. In 2013, she spoke at a conference on the theme "Dare to succeed", organized at the headquarters of Crédit Foncier and Franfinance.
- Prizes in 2005, Bronze helmet, Coup de cœur prize in 2006, and Golden helmet in 2007 for best social practices in the sector, awarded by the SECA jury (European Customer Relationship and Contact Center Exhibition) to reward its Centrapel and Total Call teams.
- TNS SOFRES Customer Relationship Podium Award 2012 in the Mobile category with its teams.
- Angélique Gérard receives the Prix Espoir du Leadership Award in 2015 and is designated "Femme du Numérique 2016" by Usine Nouvelle.
- She was elevated in November 2016 to the rank of Chevalier de l' Ordre National de la Croix du mérite by decree of the President of the Republic.
