Angel Jackson

Hello, my name is Angel Jackson. I work as an Army Public Affairs Officer in South Carolina. I’ve always had a love for the arts. They are so critical for a well-rounded education. Writing is something that I’ve always enjoyed. I’ve always chosen jobs that allowed me to hone that skill.

I’ve worked as a graphic illustrator, and video and photo documentation specialist. I’ve also had the opportunity to lead my own public affairs team where we produced hundreds of print and broadcast stories, developed a YouTube Channel, and produced a digital magazine. We also coordinated several print, broadcast and radio interviews with leaders and soldiers throughout the command.

I am currently working on my Masters in Public Relations with Full Sail University. The program is amazing and I am enjoying the projects and learning experience. Learning about the many tools to incorporate as a Public Affairs professional keeps me focused. The networking with other students is a plus. The internet created a whole new meaning for news and PR. The line between marketing and public relations is often non-existant. It is important to me that I have a solid understanding of the two. I plan to follow this program with a Masters in Entertainment Business. I would like to work with new artists and businesses to help them establish a digital footprint. Developing new ideas is something I enjoy. I am a very detail-oriented person and I look forward to working with new people and creating great PR campaigns.
