After having spent 38 years trading the stock market from Wall St., London, Geneva, Paris, Cannes, Cologne, Prague, etc. I am now retired and breed sport horses in Holland. This is a hobby and a dream fulfilled.

In 1995 I was living on Santorini island in Greece and that’s where I woke up to the internet phenomenon when most people were half asleep. In 1998 I started registering .com domains and even now I own more than 500 of them. We all know what happened with the internet. Everybody was confused then. Everybody talked about the .com bubble. A lot of companies went bust but not because they were “bubbleicious”. They went bust because they were badly managed. Look at Amazon now. Look at the internet now. It rules the planet.

In 2017 my instincts started bugging me about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. The thought of getting back into finance gave me constant cringes but I just could not resist it. Like most people I did not understand them fully and technically I still don't. I just know and feel one thing. By 2020 the impact of bitcoin will be amazing. For good or for bad. What I find remarkable is that most of the best financial brains don't get it. E.g. Jamie Dimon of J.P.Morgan, or Lloyd Blankfein of Goldman Sachs. “Fraud”, "Scam", "Bubble" and other compliments. 80% of Wall St. think that Bitcoin is a bubble. Once upon a time they read about the tulip mania in Holland and now they all feel free to compare the two. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but “chacun son metier” .

First read the books and watch the videos of Andreas Antonopoulos and then compare notes. Greeks might not be the best in public finance administration but we can certainly use our brains when it counts. I started this page to share developments and news about bitcoin, NOT to give financial advice or predict the future. Bitcoin could go to zero or go to the moon. I personally feel like an astronaut.

If you decide to invest the only advice I would give is invest up to a MAXIMUM of 5% of your total net worth. If things go wrong your life style will not be affected dramatically. If things go right ... have a nice flight. This is a HIGH risk / INCREDIBLY HIGH reward investment. Ask your mother in law and then follow her advice ...

Regards to all. Angelo Grigoropoulos
