Jose Angel Ortiz Gomez
Central Station Supervisor and philosopher in Phoenix, AZ
I do not believe a resume can fully represent who we are as individuals. Therefore, I created this page to serve as an extension to my Resume. A small glimpse if you will, to who I am.
I would like you, the employer, to be assured you are hiring the most astute candidate for the position. For it is not my desire to waste your time, or mine. This page is a testament to that.
First, I would like to give you a brief description of my background.
I was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, where I lived for nearly a decade and became fluent in Spanish. Since then I have had the blessing to enjoy our beautiful country that is The United States of America. I am a dual citizen that can write and speak fluently in both English and Spanish.
It is because of my humble origins that I take nothing for granted. I am always looking for new opportunities to grow and succeed as an individual.
My vision has always been to be the quintessential employee, no matter the job, no matter the circumstances. I pride myself in being the most reliable employee in the department.
It is not my intention to come off as pompous or arrogant. I only wish to fully demonstrate what you should expect from me.
I am an amazing, caring, passionate individual, and I am not afraid to be held up to all the standards mentioned throughout this page.
If you're wanting to hire an individual who will fill a role and simply stay there. I am not your candidate. If you want someone that will bring growth, change, and an excellent new pair of eyes to what you do, I am that candidate.
You may have noticed that I used the word, philosopher, to describe myself.
The word philosopher derives from two Greek words. The first word is Philo, to love. The second word is Sophos, wisdom. I couldn't find a better word to describe my self. I love wisdom. It is this love that drives me to learn everything I can about the job I get hired for.
Where do I see myself in 5 years?
I would like to see myself going back to College. Ideally I would prefer my education to further my role in the company I'll be working for.
Thank you so much for your time.
