I’m a science researcher with an engineering background who wants to improve the world in which we live.
I’m currently enrolled in a four-year engineering doctorate that explores digital change control procedures in construction. This doctoral study broadly falls under the field of technical information management. My empirical setting is Crossrail, a large-scale civil infrastructure programme of national importance, and I work closely with Bentley Systems, a global provider of sustainable infrastructure solutions. My study is tied with world-class research at the University of Reading, on matters of design innovation and technologies for sustainable built environments.
I have completed Cypriot military service as an infantry cadet officer specialised in military engineering, an undergraduate degree in civil engineering, and a Masters in construction project management. Prior to enrolling in my current position, I briefly worked for a small architectural and engineering firm. I have extensive experience of the hotel business, having worked at multiple positions during summers. I am interested in a variety of topics – technology, engineering, science, philosophy, economics, politics, business, the internet, and our future as a species.
