Angelyn Anderson, B.S., M.S., M.A. is a social justice advocate, photographer, mediator, conflict coach and consultant. She has a passion for community activism and educating others.
As an instructor and facilitator, Angelyn uses humor, quick wit and a practical perspective to share her knowledge and to encourage those who are marginalized, disenfranchised and underrepresented to become advocates for themselves and their communities. She incorporates the use of discussion and interactive activities and assignments to supportively challenge participants to think outside of their comfort zone and discover ways to use their privilege to help those in need.
Angelyn is an activist devoted not only improving her life but the lives of those around her through education and personal empowerment. She has collaborated with various organizations advocating for inclusion and empowerment of women and the African American community. Some of these organizations include DuSable Museum for African American History, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and Chicago Volunteer Doulas.
She truly enjoys the work she does at Angelyn Anderson Consulting, which allows her to work with organizations and companies to identify challenges within their communities; facilitate discussions as to how to address those challenges; and generate intentional, strategic interventions that lead to self empowerment and action.
