Angelica Gutierrez
Student and Student Affairs Professional in Los Angeles, California
I currently serve in two different roles on two different campuses. I am interested in working with undergraduate students in evaluating their decision making process and approach student conduct through a restorative justice model.
Additionally, I am working with high school students to increase their knowledge about higher education institutions. My goal is to give students the tools they need to make informed decisions about their post-graduate plans. I take a student centered approach and acknowledge the differences in student experiences.
Experienced in: intergroup dialogue, working with low-income first generation students, undocumented students, mixed status families, and foster/independent youth.
Interest include: College Access, College Retention, Campus Culture, Critical Race Theory, Cumbia, Cats, and Charlie.
