I am happy to say that in 2013 I started my third career in sales for Jostens Yearbooks and Oklahoma School Pictures (OSP). After ten years in the English classroom, it was time for a change back to my sales roots. The best part is that I get to combine my love of education, teenagers, and teaching with training new staffs to create the best yearbooks in the state.
I have a great love for all things literary. When I grow up, I would like to be a librarian. I will read everything from cereal boxes to dictionaries, but I especially love reading Historical Non-fiction. I really believe that I should learn something everyday, and that will usually happen while I'm reading. I feel you can do nothing better with your down time than curl up with a book (or a e-reader) and a big cup of tea. When I'm not reading I like trying new recipes, traveling with friends, riding my scooter, and collecting memories with my family.
Some of my favorite things are: Rome, Pinterest, musicals, French Rose', chihuahuas, London, pink carnations, fine ink pens, RVs, fresh berries, New Orleans, German cars, Tutor England, documentaries, David Lean movies, homemade soups, green pottery, dark chocolate, a good pub, old school Rod Stewart, NPR, Kane, and Hudson.
