Aniekan Ekanem

Aniekan Ekanem is an IT Support Engineer, Microsoft 365 Technical Support Specialist, Customer Experience Professional, and Technology Educator with over seven years of experience across enterprise technology, customer support, telecommunications, software testing, data analytics, and technology education.

He currently provides second-level technical support for Microsoft 365 enterprise customers, helping organizations resolve complex issues involving Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Outlook, identity and authentication, licensing, security, and cloud administration. He has successfully resolved complex technical incidents while consistently meeting service-level agreements and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Aniekan began his professional career in the telecommunications industry, where he supported customers across Nigeria by resolving voice, data, and network service issues. His work also contributed to identifying and reporting service outages and network challenges across the country's six geopolitical zones, helping improve service delivery for thousands of users.

During his time in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), he served as a Team Mentor and Team Lead Support Assistant, helping onboard and coach newly recruited customer service professionals while supporting operational excellence and quality service delivery. His dedication to customer satisfaction earned him multiple commendations for outstanding service, and he actively participated in corporate social responsibility initiatives focused on environmental sustainability and community development.

Expanding into enterprise technology, Aniekan has built expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, cloud technologies, and technical troubleshooting. He has supported organizations in resolving issues related to Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Entra ID, Outlook, tenant administration, PowerShell diagnostics, retention policies, licensing, and security. His problem-solving skills and customer-focused approach have contributed to improved operational efficiency, reduced escalations, and high customer satisfaction.

His professional experience also includes Software Quality Assurance, where he collaborated with development teams to validate software functionality, perform manual testing, identify defects, and improve product quality before release. This strengthened his analytical mindset and attention to detail, which now complement his work in IT support and data analytics.

Passionate about continuous learning, Aniekan has also developed skills in data analytics and business intelligence using SQL, Power BI, Python, Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and statistical analysis to transform data into actionable insights for informed decision-making.

Beyond his corporate career, education has remained central to his life's mission. Since the age of 19, he has been committed to mentoring young people and professionals, helping them develop digital, technical, and career skills. He has trained individuals in Microsoft Office, customer service, digital literacy, digital marketing, and foundational technology, believing that early access to quality education and technology can transform lives.

He has facilitated technology sessions for educational institutions, professional bodies, and youth development initiatives, including speaking on Information Technology at the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) and volunteering as a facilitator on the YOWICAN Skills Acquisition Programme, where he taught Digital Marketing for business growth.
