I am Aniket Mitra, an HR Business Partner with expertise in Industrial Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Contract Labour Management, Policy Implementation, Performance Management Systems (PMS), Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) Implementation, and Talent Exit Management. My professional journey has been shaped by designing and executing strategic HR interventions that align business goals with employee well-being and sustainable workplace practices.
I hold an MBA in Human Resource Management from IISWBM and am currently pursuing my Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) in Human Resource Management at Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS). My doctoral research is focused on the Anatomy of Contract Labour Strikes in Bengal, Jharkhand, and Odisha, examining their causes, patterns, and implications for industrial relations in India.
Guided by the Tata Steel HRBP framework, I specialize in strengthening employee relations, managing complex workforce transitions, and developing policies and reward systems that foster trust, engagement, and performance across diverse workforce segments.
Beyond work and research, I am passionate about organizational behavior, workplace culture, and the future of HR in the age of Artificial Intelligence. I thrive on bridging theory and practice to create lasting impact for organizations and their people.
