An Information Technology graduate by degree, a Senior Business Analyst by profession, a sports enthusiast by passion, a deep thinker, debater and dreamer by nature.
Anil is a post-graduate student of Liberal Education at the Young India Fellowship (in collaboration with the University of Pennsylvania, Sciences Po and Carleton College), Class of 2014. He is currently working on The History Project to enable access for children in their formative years to alternative perspectives on the shared heritage of India and Pakistan.
While working at Mu Sigma in Bangalore, apart from receiving the prestigious ‘High Impact Award’ and presenting organisation-wide talks on the power of data, he also served as a trainer and mentor for the Mu Sigma University.
In 2011, he brought his passion in Ultimate Frisbee to Coimbatore from the beaches of Chennai and formed DisCreed, Ultimate Frisbee Coimbatore. Anil was voted and honoured with the ‘Most Spirited Player’ award by Saina Nehwal at Bangalore Ultimate Open 2013. He has also served as a sports coach and volunteer at Pudiyador, an NGO in Chennai, working towards the education of underprivileged children. He is currently an avid member of Delhi Ultimate.
Apart from being a sports junky, he loves to dance. He has also trained for a short period in Mixed Martial Arts.
Anil strongly believes in the power of sports to foster global peace.
