Digital Brand Experience Officer in Chicago, Illinois
Fetesha Downs is the Digital Brand Experience Officer for YWCA Metropolitan Chicago, coordinating digital platforms and constituent databases to create data visualization and storytelling of the organization’s mission. In addition, she manages the organization's e-commerce platform, YShop, which curates goods and services from a variety of local and national businesses. Working with her team to develop a cutting-edge digital engagement strategy, she monitors the YWCA’s multi-platform digital communications that have become an industry leader in social media engagement.
Through her expanding graphic design skills, she is also assisting in program rebranding via logo designs and other brand identity elements. She joined the organization four years ago as the data specialist for the Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R), the 2nd largest in Illinois, where she developed her database experience and conceptualized avenues for streamlining internal processes to assure data integrity. In her spare time, she continues to take on creative projects and is the Fundraising Chairwoman for liftuplift, another Chicago-based nonprofit. She holds a B.A. in Public & Professional Communication, with a minor in Values-Based Leadership.
