Anis Ibrahim
Student and Volunteer in Kuala Lumpur
I am a potential ACCA graduate expected to finish my final set of professional papers in June 2021. Currently, I am studying my professional papers at INTEC Education College, an ACCA’s Platinum Approved Learning Partner in Shah Alam, Malaysia.
I have excellent educational and practical background in Accounting, Auditing, Financial methodologies and their analysis. Until present, I have passed all my ACCA papers with 1 CEO award and 4 Director's Awards. Thus, I am aspired to be a future accountant as I can fully utilised my skills and knowledge while gaining more experience in the industry.
I am also eager to explore more in other areas of expertises such as Taxation, Audit, Marketing, Financial Management and other careers related to Corporate Finance.
In addition, I am very passionate in learning and doing linguistic-related and literary works as I am always love to read varieties of reading materials. This hobby has been giving me an added value to my soft skills because as the time goes by, I have become more aware in wide areas of knowledge which helps me improving my analytical intelligence.
I am an avid volunteer and I've joined several volunteering programmes organised by my college and other NGOs. As the pandemic arises, I switched my volunteering method to online volunteering, where I am particularly active in translating and doing literary works for websites such as UN Volunteer, Volunteer Match and SHAPE.
My biggest strength is that I love learning new things and I have no fear in trying. Currently, I've been delighted to explore more in digital marketing. In my professional papers, we are being taught about e-commerce and digital marketing platforms. This has insipired me to launch my own online shopping platform (similar to Shopee and Lazada but let's hope I can do better than that) one day.
I have hands on experiences in preparing tax returns for my dad's company (a small partnership firm) for learning purposes. After my SPM examination, i worked as a salesgirl and I managed the cash flows for the bakery where i worked at.
I always a firm believer of the quote that one of my lecturers had introduced to me which goes, “chances favor the prepared mind.” Thus, I am confident that I can always face whatever challenges lay in front of me as long as I am mentally and physically prepared with enough knowledge, patience and perseverance.
