This is my journey to wellness. I don’t have a destination just yet because I want to enjoy the scenic route. Sometimes when we set a destination, we limit ourselves to that point. But when God is directing you, He may lead you in a different direction than you once thought. Sometimes we make goals to lose a certain amount of weight or inches. We limit ourselves to the numbers and become driven to meet them. Instead, I’m here not giving myself any numbers. I’m not going to limit myself to any set point because I’m trying to achieve WELLNESS. Wellness isn’t only about weight loss and eating right. It is about having a healthy spirit and mind as well. Instead of giving myself a number, like 50 pounds, I am going to give myself a goal. Who knows, I may lose 20 pounds and achieve wellness! Maybe I will lose more than 50 pounds! No one knows except God. So with that being said, I am going to take my time. Joyce Meyers says it best in her book “Look Great, Feel Great” ‘Don’t look at how far you have to go, look at how far you have come!’ Join me in this journey! Come find the path to wellness. Learn some tips, add some tips. I’m pulling my resources from a lot of places. I’m not dieting, I’m not following any specific regimen! I will not limit myself and put my wellness in a box.
