Hello, I am Aniya Carter. I was born and raised in Queens, New York. I am currently a senior at Delaware State University, located in Dover, Delaware. I will be graduating in May of 2018 with a BA in Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and Advertising. During my time at Delaware State University I have joined career building organizations including, the Public Relations Student Society of America, WDSU Radio "The Hive", and The Hornet Newspaper. I have had the opportunity to intern for eyewear company, Cohen's Fashion Optical, as well as YFF Sophisticate, a small New York based clothing line. I am currently an intern for Reckless Abandon ! Productions (Dover, DE), where I am responsible for various aspects of production and promotion of "Planet Ava" podcast. After college, I plan on working at a full service PR firm in order to refine my skills in public relations and advertising.
