Anja Jepsen

Hi, I'm Anja Jepsen, a people and family photographer based in Munich. I capture the special, fleeting moments of family life in a natural, warm and unposed way: from the gentle anticipation of pregnancy to the first tender days with a newborn, a baby's first year, and the everyday closeness of a whole family. Alongside this, I also create couple, portrait and business photography.

My approach is calm and unhurried. There's no time pressure and there are no stiff, artificial poses. We take our time, you're allowed to simply be yourselves, and I guide you gently until the real moments appear. I work almost entirely with soft, natural light and timeless, understated tones, photographing at your home, outdoors in nature, or in my natural-light studio in Munich. As a mother of three, I know first-hand how quickly these chapters pass, and how much they deserve to be held onto.

I'm a certified member of the German Association of Professional People and Portrait Photographers (bpp) and have been recognised internationally, including at the SHINE Photo Award and the Baby Photo Awards.
