Anjas | The Rajasthani language, literature, poetry, and intangible heritage.Anjas.org is an initiative by Rekhta Foundation. It is an online repository of textual and oral knowledge systems of Rajasthan. It is the first and the most comprehensive repository of its kind in Rajasthani. The significant ground has already been accomplished– with over 2000 works by nearly 250 contemporary Rajasthani poets digitized. Rekhta Foundation has been focused on its goal of preserving and promoting the literary heritage of the subcontinent ever since its inception. Its first enterprise, rekhta.org, has already been catering to these interests of Urdu speakers for more than a decade, and anjas.org is its attempt to do the same in the literary domain of the Rajasthani language.
Anjas contains the works of approximately 105 Juno poets, 51 Dingal geets, 85 ghazals, and 205 Nuvo poets, which are organised into 1553 poems, 126 pads, 102 sorthaas, 484 dohas, and 139 folksongs. All of these works are further grouped under demonstrative classifications of prosodic features, editors’ choices, representative works, literary eras of their composition, etc. In addition to it anjas.org also provides its users with a rich and fresh array of Anjas Rajasthani literature.
