Anjelica Ruiz

Dallas, TX

I am currently the Adult Engagement Coordinator for the Center for Jewish Education at the Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas. I help with special education programs, such as teacher workshops, as well as assist in other areas and for other events as needed. I am also the coordinator for LearningFest and A Night to Celebrate Jewish Education.

I hold an M.S. in criminal justice from Texas State University and an B.A. in criminology from St. Edward's University. I also recently earned an M.S. in library and information sciences with an emphasis in information organization at the University of North Texas in December 2012. I love cataloging and searching for innovative ways to promote library usage.

I interned at the Tycher Library in the Jewish Community Center of Dallas. I catalog books, teach senior computer classes, and help with major projects such as Community Read. I was also the main coordinator for this year's summer reading program. I have also interned in the cataloging department at Temple Emanu-El, in the Weisberg Library.
