I'm a PR Specialist, with skills in media relations across a wide range of media, along with an excellent insight and passion into how to get the best out of all digital platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and Google+. Currently, I'm working for Thomson Reuters’ Financial and Risk division in New York, which includes Wealth and Asset Management, Banking and Research and GRC.

Previously, I plied my trade agency side, with a collection of interesting clients who provided me with challenges to sharpen my experience with, including Finnair, who wanted to leverage “local heroes” into global brand ambassadors, spawning an award winning campaign and increasing brand awareness from 51 % to 64%; Jack Daniel’s Barbecue Sauce who needed a comprehensive marketing campaign to support listings and ultimately drive sales; and a CSR campaign for one of the UK’s best known brands, webuyanycar.com, who sought to build relationships, understanding and trust in the brand and a local community. The “See Me, Stay Safe” road safely campaign was successful in dramatically improving trust scores from 8.5% to 48% and doubling the number of people who considered it to be a professional and friendly brand.

Agency life also fed my natural passion for all things digital. Seeking to go beyond managing social media campaigns and overseeing increasing awareness and engagement, I familiarized myself with SEO strategies, and served the UK’s biggest online cartridge shop, cartridgesave.co.uk with parallel campaigns to help cement their position in Google and increase engagement through existing social channels.

When I’m not doing all this, you’ll most likely find me at a gig, playing field hockey, or travelling – I’m lucky to have visited more than 19 countries and have lived in three continents.
