Ann Marie Govic

Ann Marie Govic is a licensed real estate broker and licensed insurance agent based in Los Angeles, California, with a background in residential real estate and a lifelong eye for interior design. A Croatian American, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, cum laude, from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City in 1998 and has since lived and worked in New York, Florida, Atlanta and Los Angeles.

Her career has been built around real estate. Ann Marie holds an active real estate broker license and insurance licenses, and her work spans residential properties and personal real estate holdings, including guiding buyers and sellers through the practical side of finding, financing and protecting a property. Holding both real estate and insurance licenses gives her a complete view of a transaction, from the first showing through closing and the years of ownership that follow.

Design is the thread that runs through all of it. Over the years Ann Marie has personally led the interior design of each of her family's renovation projects, from space planning and finishes to furnishings, an experience that shaped how she thinks about what makes a property work for the people who live in it. She enjoys writing and speaking about interior design, renovating a home yourself and real estate tips for buyers and sellers, and her Croatian heritage and family traditions inform much of her design perspective.

Beyond real estate, she is an aspiring pilot who holds a pilot certificate, an avid traveler and a longtime supporter of philanthropic causes. Her community work has included the Van Wezel Foundation Gala Committee in Sarasota, the American Cancer Society Gala Committee in Palm Beach, organizing multiple Feeding America meal packing events, the USC Marshall Women's Philanthropy Committee and the Delta Gamma Parents Association board, along with support for many local causes. She is married to Mario Govic, founder of Govic Capital, and has two children.
