Ann Tracy

Portland Maine

I’m a “digital alchemist” exploring identity issues, chance as an element in art and the Dada concept of collage on a digital level based on my photography, digital painting and “found imagery”.

Ann Tracy is an artist whose work spans diverse media - from photography to visual art to theatre as an actor, director and playwright to film and commercial work. She began working as an actor/dancer/choreographer in Boston and Colorado in the 1970's, filling sketch books and canvases all the while. She was the first female voice on KTLK radio doing news in 1977 and she appeared in the film George B at the Sundance Film Festival in 1996.

Her art work has been exhibited from New York to Maui to Japan and can be found in private collections Georgia, New Mexico, Minnesota, New York, California and Texas. She is a member of the Digital Arts Guild, Webists International Artists group, Professional Women Photographers, the Maine Artists Collective and her work is currently at Constellation Gallery in Portland Maine.
