Sydney, Australia

Hi!

I'm a Journalism and Communications Graduate from the University of New South Wales (UNSW). I have global internship experience, and I pride myself on my ability to find creative solutions to problems.

My interest in digital communications heightened during my internship with The Remarkables Group, Sydney’s blogger-talent agency. I had the opportunity to contribute to the creative process of campaign development, compose monthly newsletters to their subscribers, and consolidate campaign reports for major clients including Tourism Queensland, of which I received positive feedback from regarding the presentation’s visual aesthetics.

I also have well-developed written communication skills demonstrated through my internship with Tagroom.com, where I wrote a number of articles which increased web traffic by roughly 1,800 views. Furthermore, my attention to detail was sharpened through my role as an Intern Commercial Writer at Brunei Press in 2012, where I was responsible for subediting and writing articles for the Borneo Bulletin Yearbook 2013.

I am naturally outgoing, friendly and a real communicator as evidenced through my involvement with various extracurricular activities during university, such as Peer Mentoring and volunteering as the Creative Director of UNSW’s Malaysian Students’ Organisation (MSO). I have proven strong customer service skills acquired from two major hospitality businesses at Sydney. Additionally, my mature approach and ability to work independently and report back is demonstrated through part-time employment as a Sales Assistant at SABA.

I am certain my organisational, communication and creativity abilities provide me the requirements to successfully fulfil this role. Thank you for considering my application.
