Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain
I was born in Sabadell (Barcelona, Spain) in 1981. I studied in La Vall (Bellaterra) and FERT (Barcelona) schools, where I qualified with Honours to access University. I graduated in Journalism at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, UAB, 1999-2004).
After some periods of training and internships in different companies – all of them related to the media – I started my professional career as a journalist working in two Spanish newspapers (La Razón and Actual). I wrote articles about many subjects, but I specialised in issues involving Health, Education and Religion.
Later on I moved to the PR sector, and started working in a communications agency based in Barcelona, InterMèdia GdC, where I spent almost seven years, working in the corporate communications department.
Since December 2012 I work on my own as a freelancer, putting to good use my expertise in communication strategies, combining corporate communication, media relations, some aspects of marketing and public affairs. I am highly experienced in writing press releases, press kits and any corporate text. I can do press clippings and online monitoring. And I am an able organiser of events and public presentations.
My services also include social media strategies (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and so on), web copy and design assessment, and online communication actions (Wordpress, Blogspot, Mailchimp).
I currently collaborate as a senior consultant with Sibilare, a communication agency specialised in credibility and communication in credibility crises.
