Current project: authoring the forthcoming book, Beyond Microaggressions: Small Actions, Big Impact, in which I break down the topic of micro inequities—also known as microaggressions—and suggest techniques to effectively and sustainably minimize them.

As an avid writer, you can find my views on leadership, diversity, and cultural competence in The Huffington Post, The Diversity Factor, and the Red Shoe Movement. My editorial commentary on immigration and education was awarded national recognition at the First National Ethnic Media Awards in Washington D.C.

My ideal clients are individuals and organizations that are excited and courageous about exploring new ideas while being focused and committed to sustainable and transformational change.

I am certified to administer and interpret the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the Change Style Indicator, and the Intercultural Development Inventory Tool. I am a certified Life Coach from Martha Beck, Inc.

In my spare time, I enjoy an eclectic variety of music (from Flamenco to Stevie Wonder), while I am learning to play the Cajón, a percussion instrument from my native Perú.
