Anna Thomson

Newcastle upon Tyne, UK

I am a practicing Artist with a background in Printmaking. However, my real interest lies within the neurology based arena Synaesthesia occupies. This is where my body of Research stems from. I strive to close the gap between Art and Science.

By researching into aspects of sound/vision synaesthesia I have read a lot of science/neurological based materials into the biological makeup as well as synaesthesia specific literatures. As a result, I have experience of using a wide range of research materials, as well as an understanding of ethical considerations and procedures which are applicable when working in a collaborative manner, ensuring all parties are protected for multiple eventualities.
