Anna is globe-wandering writer and performer. She recently hosted a staged reading of her original television pilot at The iO Theater, Chicago. The pilot was the result of classes taken there under the instruction of Michael McCarthy, as part of the Writer's Lab program. It went one to place in the 2nd round at the Austin Film Festival and was a quarterfinalist in the Final Draft Big Break contest.

Anna studied improv at The iO Theater, The New Movement, ComedySportz TC, and HUGE Theater. She performed for 2 years with Funny Bones Improv, as well as a 30 week run with Improv Toolbox in Chicago. Now she's a current member of Taco Truck Tuesday with regular performances in Birmingham, AL.

Anna also completed an intensive 50 week Meisner training program at Green Shirt Studios, Chicago, under Andrew Gallant, where she performed parts from “Proof” and “The Children’s Hour”. Additionally, she appeared in several sketches for the group Driving On Wires.

When not hunched over a keyboard or muttering monologues to herself she can be found experimenting with new recipes, updating her Instagram, or studying Italian. Grazie!
