Anna Ando is a freelance marketer with expertise in marketing, recruiting and business management. Honest Food Talks is a concept founded in 2018 upon discovering the lack of a central portal for in-depth English reviews of local restaurants in Hokkaido, Japan. In a space where most news and media sites covering the food and beverage industry will focus on promoting well known, high-end restaurants that often comes at a high cost to restauranteurs, the digital media company has opted to stay true to its roots and readers.
