Anna B

West Midlands

I currently host the 2BAnnaB Podcast where I discuss knitting, spinning, cooking, what it's like living in the UK as an American, and a little Early Modern Drama thrown in there for fun.

As an actor and director I am interested in found space theatre with a focus on Early modern drama. I hold a Master’s of Fine Arts from the University of Exeter in Staging Shakespeare and during my two year study in England I spent time researching and experimenting on the Globe stage, in the RSC archives, and as a part of the studio and found space performances in Exeter. In Colorado I founded my own theatre company ShakeMates.

I am also passionate about creating art and I am a handspinner and knitter. My yarn is spun on my Kromski Mazurka wheel and my beautiful Wildcraft resin spindles.

Additionally, I have a strong background in Front of House management having worked at the Arvada Center (the largest multi-disciplinary arts center in the US), the Utah Shakespeare Festival, and Northern Colorado's Center for Performing and Visual Arts. I currently work in the Music Department at a University.
