Anna Claspy
Historian, Writer, and Consultant in Romania
I'm a public historian with a background in oral history, specifically. Currently, I work on the Loyola Oral History Project. Our project aims to capture the history of Loyola University through the memories of its faculty, staff, and students. Since 2007, we have recorded over three hundred interviews with members of the university community.
In 2016, I was selected by the US Department of State as a Fulbright ETA Fellow in Romania. For the fall semester, I taught Introduction to Writing and Presentation Skills at Petru Maior University in Targu-Mures. In the spring semester, I assisted in several English language courses at Centrul Universitar Nord in Baia Mare as well as organized and participated in international conferences, workshops, and roundtables.
