Anna is the definition of a mass communicator. From broadcast journalism to videography, graphic and web design to print, Anna was trained to do it all during her six years as a Navy Mass Communication Specialist. She was even the face of the Navy for two years while serving aboard the oldest commissioned warship afloat: "Old Ironsides," in Boston, where she gave guided tours to thousands of visitors annually.

Anna is currently a journalism and English double major at San Diego State University, where she is learning a bunch of nifty new ways to communicate with the public, mostly through digital multimedia. In addition to her military experience, Anna has also interned with KPBS Midday Edition. She is pursuing a career as an investigative reporter, military correspondent and feature writer.
