Journalist in London, United Kingdom
I've been a journalist for over 20 years (gulp) contributing news and features to most of the usual suspects — UK national newspapers and magazines.
I've covered everything from shootouts in the Bronx to cricket, crocs, and politics in Australia. I've broken a few (secret squirrel) political scoops (but you won't know that was me). I made former ITN newscaster Alastair Stewart cry (happy tears) for a piece for the Sunday Times Magazine and almost wept myself investigating the horror of teenage plastic surgery in South Korea.
Memorable interview? The wonderful (late) Joan Rivers for London Magazine — a glorious afternoon at her lavish NYC penthouse relishing every word that rolled off her deliciously wicked tongue. Joan's "off-the-record" stories (double gulp) were the best.
As a writer, it's not about the publications I write for but the people I write about (that's you), so please feel free to get in touch. I'm always happy to hear from you.
